Donate – Clermont County Republican Party

CORPORATE CONTRIBUTIONS

The Ohio Revised Code prohibits corporate contributions to political candidates but makes an exception for a corporate contribution to a political party if it is designated “BUILDING FUND”. In these cases, funds given to the Republican party are considered “Gifts” and not donations. They are legal and welcomed.

The Republican Party maintains a “Building Fund” bank account which is separate from our other accounts and is used for costs related to the building (i.e. rent, utilities, office supplies, etc.). Candidate funds are maintained in a completely different account.

It is also important to note that corporate contributions are not deductible.

Having said all that, we appreciate all donations/gifts to the Republican Party. Without your participation we would be unable to wage competitive campaigns against the Washington and local progressive leftist policies.
